Good, tasty and down to earth food. Very nice service. Unfortunately, you only find out when you pick it up that the packaging costs extra.

Very friendly owner and staff! Good food at reasonable prices! Schnitzel day on Wednesdays! 7.50 including side dish! So tender meat! And great potato soup! It is very cozy and you like to stay there for a long time!

Nice historic downtown, both high-end, health food and budget grocery shopping within easy walking distance, just like diverse food places (Sushi, Thai, Turkish, Italian, Greek, Spanish, of course German, and hybrids. Farmers Markets on Saturday and Wednesday. Good services and civic culture.

The rump steak was chewy, a fat rim too thick, gristly. The salad bar extremely loveless ... unfortunately not recommended!

Came here with three friends when we were backpacking in Germany last year. We were recommended here by our landlord, who is a local. The restaurant was a cozy place, and judging from the interaction, most of the customers seemed to be locals. The proprietor was very friendly, and when we clarified a misunderstood order, she gave us another serving of fries free of charge. As Asian tourists were likely rare here, some of the other customers were curious and friendly to us, even mistaking us for Japanese. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. A real hidden gem in Hofheim am Taunus!
